Millersville, Pa. – Three Millersville women’s lacrosse players were named to the All-PSAC East (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference) Second Team Wednesday. Seniors Lindsay Toriello and Liz Weekley, and junior Courtney Haggerty were each selected by conference’s coaches.

This marks Weekley’s third consecutive postseason honor from the conference and is a first for both Haggerty and Toriello.

Making her second-straight appearance on the second team, Weekley was also named to the first team after her sophomore season. Weekley became one of the program’s most prolific offensive players, finishing her career with a school record 224 points. A four-year starter for the Marauders, Weekley also finished second on the all-time list in career goals with 171 and career assists with 54. She led the squad this season with 31 goals and 16 assists to combine for 47 points.

Weekley contributed four goals in three separate games and registered at least one goal in every contest but one. She also collected 21 ground balls on the year and caused 13 turnovers.

Serving as a co-captain her senior year and as a three-year starter for Millersville, Toriello’s defensive abilities caused a team-leading 20 turnovers on the year. Toriello also collected 34 ground balls, tying her for second on the team.

Haggerty, a three-year starter in goal for the Marauders, dominated the conference and ranked third in all of Division II with 163 saves on the season. Her agility around the goal helped her to finish second in the PSAC with 3.69 ground balls per game. Haggerty led her Millersville squad with 48 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers. She registered double-digit saves in 11 games.

Millersville closed out the season with a record of 3-11, 2-8 PSAC East.
