Millersville, Pa. – During the month of February, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference will participate in national efforts to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. The Millersville men and women's basketball teams will do their part as well to contribute to this cause.
The Marauder basketball teams will be the hosts at Pucillo Gymnasium on Sat., Feb. 18 for their home date against Mansfield in their efforts to raise funds for the “Hooping for a Cure” initiative. Through the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, each team in the PSAC will have the opportunity to host a game benefitting this great cause from Feb. 4-18.
The WBCA's Play 4 Kay promotes raising money and awareness for breast cancer in many ways. Last year, the WBCA raised over $600,000 for breast cancer research.
