Ages: Boys and girls in grades 7-12
Special Guest: Jim Carney is one of the top U.S. distance stars. Jim has qualified for the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Trials in the 5,000m and 10,000m. He finished sixth at the trials 10k in ’08. Jim has run PR’s of 13:23 (5,000m) and 27:43 (10,000m). Jim represented the U.S. in the 2008 World Cross Country Championships and is currently sponsored by New Balance and the Red Rose Distance Project.
