It has been a busy winter for the ladies of the Millersville University softball team. Back in mid-December they assisted —for a second straight year— in putting on the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis in the city of Lancaster. In the past two weeks the team held a comedy night fundraiser and donated its time to the House of Hope in York.

The Millersville softball team will be hosting numerous opponents from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland in the inaugural Millersville Fall Tournament on Saturday, September 26. All games will be held at the Millersville University Softball field.

Janelle Mrakovich picked up her second postseason honor Thursday afternoon when she was named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-Atlantic Region First Team.

Capping a season in which she totaled a career-high 56 hits, senior Janelle Mrakovich was named to the All-PSAC Eastern Division Second Team at the designated player/utility position on Friday afternoon.
