
Bupp Named to Weekly Honor Roll

Millersville, Pa.- Senior defender Krista Bupp was named to the WomensFieldHockey.com Weekly Honor Roll after guiding the ninth-ranked field hockey team to a two-win weekend, as announced Tuesday afternoon.
In the squad's 3-2 loss to No. 2 Shippensburg Tuesday, Bupp connected on a penalty stroke to tie the game and take it into overtime. She also tallied the first two goals of the match-up against Limestone College as the Marauders' rolled to a 7-0 victory Saturday afternoon.
On Sunday, Millersville trailed Mercyhurst 2-0 well into the second half until Meredith Dolinger scored off a pass from Bupp to put the team on the scoreboard. The Marauders went on to win 3-2, to improve to 9-8 on the season.
Bupp is currently tied for second on the team with five goals and holds third place in points, with 12. She also owns a .600 shots on goal percentage. Additionally, she is the only Marauder to have taken a penalty stroke this season, in which she has converted on two of three chances.
Millersville looks for its third straight win on Tuesday, Oct. 20 when it travels to conference rival Kutztown. Game time is slated for 7 p.m.
