
Field Hockey Closes Season at No. 10

Chandler, Ariz. - The Millersville field hockey team closed out the 2009 season ranked No. 10 in both the 2009 Kookaburra/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll and the womensfieldhockey.com poll.
In its second year under head coach Shelly Behrens, the squad finished with a total record of 9-10 and 2-6 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division. The Marauders were one of five PSAC teams to finish in the top 10.
Senior Kristie Testa led Millersville with 10 goals and 22 points, followed by junior Emily Woodland, who tallied five goals, eight assists and 18 points. Sophomore goalkeeper Sara Dickinson finished with 107 saves and three shut-outs this season.
