Millersville, Pa. - Millersville University Athletics has scheduled the Eighth Annual Black & Gold Golf Classic for Monday, May 11, 2009 at Cross Gates Country Club.
The Black & Golf Golf Classic is opening to anyone looking to support Millersville Athletics. The outing is the single largest one-day fundraising event for Millersville Athletics, and all funds generated benefit scholarships and athletic operations.
The event format is a scramble. The day begins at 10 a.m. with registration, warm-up and a new equipment demonstration. At 11:30 a.m., lunch will be served on the clubhouse patio. A shotgun start is scheduled at 12:30 p.m., and refreshments will be provided on select holes and at the turn. Following play, there will be a reception and dinner at Millersville University's Bolger Conference Center.
