Track and Field Teams Honored by USTFCCCA

Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville men's and women's track and field teams were recently recognized by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their classroom efforts. Both teams earned the distinction of Division II All-Academic Track and Field Teams.
The Millersville men's team was one of only 27 Division II programs to be named to the list. To qualify for nomination, the team must earn a cumulative 3.00 GPA. Millersville and Edinboro were the only two PSAC programs to make the 27-team list.
On the women's side, 64 teams in the nation achieved the 3.00 GPA standard. Millersville's women posted a 3.21 cumulative GPA. The PSAC landed the highest number of member schools on the list for the second year in a row with a 11.
The previous week, Jim Boyer from the men's squad and Priscilla Jennings from the women's team were named to the USTFCCCA Division II Men's All-Academic Track and Field Team.
