Elizabethtown, Pa. — The Millersville wrestling team was busy on Saturday, earning a 25-18 dual match win over New York University, but falling to Elizabethtown 25-16 in dual action earlier in the day.

In the loss to the Blue Jays, Dave Morey earned a fall at 165. The junior, who made his season debut in Friday night's loss to Duquesne, picked up his second win in as many matches, pinning Elizabethtown's Kyle Deeds in 1:20. He would later make it three straight winning his bout in the NYU dual.

The Marauders (3-6-1), got a major decision win from Shane Smith at 174, and decisions from Mike Greck (141) and Jason Foor (184). Millersville held a 16-6 lead in the match, but E-Town rallied by winning the final four bouts. Will Bentley (125) and Colin Sheridan (133) each registered falls in the final two bouts to complete the comeback for the Blue Jays.

The Black and Gold started strong against NYU, with Greck rolling to a 10-0 major decision over Clement Bommier. The Marauders would win five of the first six bouts against the Bobcats to claim a 19-3 lead. Smith pinned NYU's Steve Massey in 23 seconds for his eighth consecutive win. The Nazareth, Pa., native has emerged victorious in 12 of his last 13 bouts, dating back to Dec. 28, 2009.

Other winners for the Marauders included #J.J. Lester# (149), Morey (165), and Foor (184). Chase Godfrey also earned a win via forfeit at 285. Zac Wawrzyniak-Bush was a major decision winner in an exhibition bout at 157 by beating James Carridi 11-3.

Millersville will host and compete in the "Shorty" Hitchcock Memorial Classic tomorrow at Pucillo Gymnasium.
