New York, N.Y. – The Millersville men’s and women’s indoor track and field team traveled to New York City for the second time this season for the two-day New Balance Collegiate Invitational track meet held at the Armory Track and Field Center. The meet is comprised of numerous Division I, II, and III squads from across the country.

On Friday, senior Anthony Adamski placed fourth in his heat of the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.34 seconds. Adamski placed 42nd overall in the 60, .34 seconds behind the first place finisher.

In the men’s long jump, junior Derrick Bass claimed 39th place with a distance of 6.42 meters. Bass was followed by junior Jorrel Nugent, who jumped for 6.24 meters.
