New York, N.Y. – On the second day of the New Balance Collegiate Invitational track and field meet at the Armory Track and Field Center in New York City, the Millersville men’s track and field team staked its claim in the 4x400-meter relay, setting a new Millersville school record, in addition to placing in the top-20. The meet is composed of several Division I, II, and III schools from across the nation.
The 4x4 team garnered third place in its heat, setting a new school time of 3:22.75. Comprised of senior
Anthony Adamski, sophomore
Keith Ogden, sophomore
Jack Scanlin, and freshman
Chris Jackson, the relay squad placed 14th overall at the meet.
The previous record of 3:24.50 dated back to 2007, and was overpowered by almost two seconds. The former record-holding relay team was made up of Adam Malloy, Wyatt Hall, Akil Stokes, and Nick Sperry.
