Millersville, Pa. - Following an outstanding senior season, Julius Carter was chosen to play in the 14th Annual All American Bowl at University of Charleston Laidley Field in Charleston, W.Va.

The game, hosted by the Charleston West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau, features some of the best football seniors from Division II and Division III. Along with the game, a scouting combine will be conducted. The All American Bowl began in 1996 in Minnesota.

Several players that participated in the All American Bowl went on to be signed by NFL teams. Punter Chris Hanson of Marshall University is the current punter for New England Patriots. Maurice Hicks, Montgomery College running back, signed as an undrafted free-agent with the Chicago Bears and also played for the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings. Keith Williams, St. Cloud State running back, was signed by the Green Bay Packers.

Carter, a safety for the Marauders, was named All-PSAC East First Team and Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-Super Region One Third Team Defense in 2009. He totaled 87 tackles, ranking seventh in the PSAC. Carter also forced three fumbles and picked off two passes.
