Field Hockey Camp Information
Millersville, Pa. – The Millersville field hockey team, along with head coach
Shelly Behrens, will hold its 2010 Shooting and Goalkeeping Clinic on Sunday, April 11. The clinic will run from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Chryst Field at Biemesderfer Stadium. The program also hosts a field hockey clinic and play day on April 16 and its 2010 RAD Field Hockey Camp from July 15-18.
Field players attending the April 11 clinic will focus on skills, doing drills and shooting on goal. Goalkeepers will see action on the field, including facing one-on-one situations with players. Coaches are encouraged to be on the field during the clinic.
The play day is for under-19 and under-16 high school and club teams.Teams will play 20-25 minute games with four-five games guaranteed.
The RAD Camp meets the needs of today’s field hockey player. It provides fun and competitive environment where the field hockey player come first. Comprehensive instruction for individuals and teams will teach the skills tactics and concepts needed for today’s player to improve their game. Specialized goalkeeping instruction is offered for goalkeepers. The camp is open to all individuals grade 7-12.
