Millersville, Pa. - The Gene A. Carpenter Football Foundation will host the fourth annual Marauder Pride Football Golf Classic at Crossgates Golf Club on June 12 to raise funds for the Millersville football program.
The foundation, formed in the honor of former Millersville football coach Gene Carpenter, has planned a day of dinner and golf for $100 per person. The golf is a scramble format and begins at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Dinner will be served following the round of golf. Those that are not golfers are still encouraged to attend dinner at a cost of $35. All proceeds benefit the football program.
Also included in the afternoon is a silent auction with a variety of sports memorabilia up for bidding. The following are some of the items being auctioned:
