
Frayne Named PSAC Athlete of the Week

Lock Haven, Pa. – After winning the javelin portion of the Penn Relays' heptathlon, senior Michele Frayne was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week Tuesday, April 27.
Frayne, who finished second in the heptathlon, claimed top honors the javelin with an NCAA-qualifying distance of 134-8. In addition to qualifying in the javelin, Frayne also recorded an NCAA provisional mark in the heptathlon earlier this year. A veteran of nationals, Frayne was also a 2009 NCAA competitor in the heptathlon.
Frayne is Millersville's first athlete of the week honoree during the 2010 outdoor season.
