
Football Begins Announcement of 2011 Recruiting Class

Millersville, Pa. - The Millersville coach staff, led by Greg Colby has started the announcement of the 2011 recruiting class, which will join the program in the fall.

Joe Bucher · OL · 6-2 · 250
Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley
Bucher comes to Millersville after spending a year at Shippensburg. He was a three-year letterwinner under head coach Tim Rimpfel as a center and long snapper. He was named a Second Team Mid-Penn Commonwealth All-Conference selection as a senior and helped Cumberland Valley to an appearance in the PIAA AAAA Semifinals and a District 3 Championship. He was awarded the 2009 CV Sportsmanship Award.

Middletown, Pa./Middletown
A highly decorated linebacker, Brinser comes to Millersville from Middletown. Brinser was an All-Mid-Penn Capital Division First Team pick in 2010 and a Liberty Division First Team pick in 2009. He was all-state second team selection as a junior and senior and a member of the Patriot News Super 25 Team. He lettered all four years in football and baseball. His Middletown team won the Mid-Penn Liberty Division twice and the 2008 squad was the District 3 AA runner-up with a 10-3 record.

Aston, Pa./Strath Haven
Slight but speedy and shifty, Collins was a do-it-all player from Strath Haven. He starred at running back, defensive back and returned kicks and punts. He was a team co-captain as a senior and was the recipient of the Memorial Panther Award. Collins picked up All-Delco Honorable Mention after rushing for 770 yards and 10 touchdowns on 125 carries. He also caught two touchdown passes. Including his kick returns, he totaled well over 1,000 all-purpose yards. His 2010 squad posted 12-1 record and won a Central League title and a District 1 AAA Championship. Collins played on both sides of the ball in each game.

Wilson, Pa./Wilson
Cooper quarterbacked a highly successful Wilson program, and led the Colonial League in passing with 1,737 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior. The athletic Cooper also led his team in rushing with 518 yards and seven scores. He threw for over 300 yards twice as a senior, and scored five touchdowns against Northern Lehigh. Against Saucon Valley, Cooper passed for 332, rushed for 70 and scored four times. His teams captured two Colonial League titles and won a District 11 title in 2008.

Womelsdorf, Pa./Conrad Weiser
Dangelo was a disruptive defensive lineman for Alan Moyer's Conrad Weiser club. He totaled 54 tackles as a senior and was named All-Berks I-C First Team, All-Berks County Second Team and honorable mention all-state. Dangelo's 2009 team went 10-3, won the Berks I-C title and reached the third round of the district playoffs. As a senior, his club posted a 9-3 mark and reached the third round of the district playoffs.

Donmoyer was a two-time letterwinner for Coach Mike Melnyk's Blue Streaks. He totaled a team-leading 87 tackles, four sacks and picked off a pass as a senior. He helped his team to a District 3 AAAA playoff appearance. He also played in the Lancaster-Lebanon League Tri-County All-Star Game and was named All-Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1 as a senior.

Gossler is an outstanding athlete that achieve all-league second team honors and served as a team captain. With speed off the edge, he totaled 15 sacks in 2010 including three in one game. He also blocked four PAT's and recorded 102 tackles.

A three-year starter at linebacker, Kelly achieved a pile of accolades during his career at Marple Newtown. he was an All-Delaware County selection twice and an all-league pick twice. His team selected him as the defensive MVP and Most Dedicated Player, and he was a team captain in 2010. Kelly totaled 82 tackles, 2.5 sacks, four passes defended and a fumble recovery as a junior and 82 stops, one sack, two caused fumbles, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal as a senior. He lettered all four years in footbal and lacrosse.

Koncar comes to Millersville as a redshirt sophomore after spending two years at Towson. He played with Millersville running back Mike Jones on the highly successful Bishop McDevitt program. He threw for 1,700 yards and totaled 17 touchdowns as a sophomore, and threw for 1,673 yards and threw and rushed for a total of 22 touchdowns as a junior. He was named all-conference as a sophomore and junior, and led Bishop McDevitt to a combined record of 28-10 in three seasons. He played in the district playoffs each year and won two conference titles.

Miller comes to Millersville after two years at Valley Forge Military College where he played football and ran track. While at Owen J. Roberts, Miller played defensive back and quarterback. He was an all-area and all-state pick and participated in the annual Valor Bowl. He was also his team's MVP twice.

St. Clair was a star linebacker for an ultra-successful program at Lancaster Catholic. He helped his team to a PIAA AA Championship in 2009. Three times, his team won the Lancaster-Lebanon League Section III title. St. Clair was named 2010 Linebacker of the Year in Section III and was a first team pick in 2009 and 2010. In 31 varsity games, he totaled 54 solo stops, 86 assists, four forced fumbles and eight interceptions. He was the Lancaster-Lebanon league Road Graders Challenge Individual Bench Champion and winner of the "Ironator Award."
