Volleyball Releases Summer Camp Dates

Millersville, Pa. – Millersville women's volleyball head coach Brian Smith has announced the dates for the team's instructional camp for middle and high school players, beginning with an All Skills Camp from June 29 – July 2, 2012.
The team will host five camps throughout the summer. Camps are for girls only. After the All Skills Camp, which is for players from ages 11-17, there will be camps for each individual position offered throughout the month of July. The first two positions to be covered will be the Setter and Middle Hitter Camps, from July 16-19. The team will end with the Libero and Outside Hitter Camps from July 23-26. Positional camps are only for players in grades 8-12.
Coaches instructing the camp this year will be Millersville volleyball coaches Smith and assistant Steve Goris. In addition to the Marauder staff, Quincy University head coach Jennifer Constantino will be the other instructional coach. She joins the staff and will be working in her first year at the Marauder Volleyball Camp. In her first season as head coach of the Hawks in 2011, Constantino guided her team to a 15-14 record and a Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament appearance.
At the Marauder Volleyball Camp, campers will be given the opportunity to learn from coaches that are experienced and have a passion for working with and coaching players in these specialty positions. Campers also have the option to commute or stay on Millersville University's campus for the duration of their camp. If campers choose to stay, they will be housed in climate-controlled dorms on the campus and given three meals per day at the university's dining hall.
Cost for resident campers is $360 and the cost for campers that choose to commute is $285. A $75 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration. Please print and fill out the brochure above to register. Brochures are due for registration by June 11, 2012. Don't delay on registration as the camps are limited. The All Skills Camp is limited to the first 75 players and the individual positional camps are limited to 25 players per position.
