Millersville, Pa. - Saturday's baseball doubleheader at Clarion has been canceled, and the games will not be rescheduled. PSAC baseball is in its final day of the regular season, and Millersville, having played all of its PSAC East games, needs a little help from West Chester to get back to the PSAC Tournament.
The Marauders has a bye week from PSAC East this weekend, and its 12-11-1 league mark is currently in the running with Bloomsburg for the fourth and final spot from the division. Bloomsburg, which was swept at home by West Chester yesterday, travels to West Chester Saturday for a pair. The Golden Rams can clinch the PSAC East title and the No. 1 seed in the tournament with one win. That one win would put Millersville into the postseason.
Kutztown and Shippensburg, both at 13-9, have already clinched a postseason bid, but are playing for seeding. Both teams still have outside chances at winning the East, but both scenarios would require West Chester to lose both to Bloomsburg.
