Volunteers Needed as MU Hosts 2013 NCAA Golf Tournament

Millersville, Pa. – Millersville University will be hosting the 2013 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship at the East Course of Hershey Country Club and is looking for volunteers to help run the event from Sunday, May 19 to Friday, May 24.
Volunteers are needed to run the event successfully and to help assist with the large amounts of athletes participating in the national tournament.
The Hershey Country Club will use volunteers as walking scorers, range attendants, shuttle drivers, course marshals, spotters, and other general volunteer duties. Each volunteer will receive a free meal per shift worked and one golf voucher for a free round of golf for every three shifts of work.
The Marauders have hosted NCAA Regionals over the past two years, but this will be the first time that Millersville has hosted the NCAA Championships. A total of 20 teams and eight individuals will advance out of the regional sites, which will be completed on May 8. This will be the fourth NCAA Regional or National Championship played on The Hershey Golf Collection golf courses.
