'Ville baseball pegged No. 15 in preseason poll

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - D2 Baseball has released its preseason top 25 for the 2026 season and has Millersville ranked No. 15.
The Marauders are coming off a 2025 season in which it went 44-10, won the PSAC Championship and was the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Atlantic Region. The Marauders are one of four PSAC teams in the top 25 with East Stroudsburg at No. 3, Seton Hill at No. 19, and California at No. 24.
Millersville is no stranger to national rankings, having spent at least one week in a poll each season since 2013. Entering 2026, however, is faced with replacing its top four hiitters, three of its four weekend starters and five All-PSAC East performers. The lone postseason honoree returning is Matthew Williams, who was named the PSAC Tournament MVP and set Millersville's single-season and career home run record in 2026.
Millersville's season begins in fewer than three weeks as it plays a doubleheader at Wingate on Feb. 7.
