Eli Nabholz '19, one of the most accomplished and talented starting pitchers in Millersville baseball history, returned to guide the program's pitching staff in 2025.Â
Nabholz is already familiar with Millersville's pitchers as he was the director of operations and pitching coordinator at FullReps Training Center since 2021. There, he worked closely with high school, collegiate and professional athletes. He managed daily operations, created individualized programming for athletes, integrating throwing and strength and conditioning. He also worked as an on-floor trainer, and during his time at FullReps, he helped place 100% of graduating high school seniors into collegiate programs and helped 10 pitchers sign professional contracts.Â
In his first season, he helped Millersville win the PSAC Championship and earn the No. 1 seed in the Atlantic Regional. Two of Nabholz's pitchers earned All-PSAC East honors.
As a student-athlete at Millersville, Nabholz was one of only two pitchers to win the PSAC East Pitcher of the Year Award two times and was a three-time All-PSAC East and All-Atlantic Region selection. Nabholz posted a 2.69 ERA and 24-8 record in 41 starts from 2017-19. He struck out 262 batters in 240 2/3 innings. In three seasons, he won the PSAC East Pitcher of the Week award nine times, and in 2017, he became the sixth Marauder to throw a no-hitter.Â
Nabholz was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 38th round of the 2019 MLB Draft. In rookie ball that summer, he struck out 33 in 31 1/3 innings and a 4.31 ERA.Â
Nabholz has a degree in government and political affairs from Millersville.Â
