Heather Wolfe

Heather Wolfe

Heather Wolfe joined the Millersville University staff in 2019. Heather earned her bachelor’s of science in athletic training from Penn State University and her master’s of science in athletic training from the University of Kentucky. She earned her BOC certification in 2014. 

Prior to her arrival at Millersville, Wolfe worked as the Director of Sports Medicine and associate athletic trainer at Lincoln University for two years. From 2014-16 she was a graduate assistant outreach athletic trainer at the University of Kentucky, working with the men's ice hockey club team as well as numerous high school and middle school teams in the area. 

An abstract of Heather’s Master’s thesis project was presented as a poster at the 2015 National Athletic Trainers’ Association Convention and at the 2016 International Congress of Shoulder and Elbow Therapists. The full article “Volleyball Overhead Swing Volume and Injury Frequency” is scheduled for publication in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy this year.  Heather presented a case study, "Non-Contact Fibular Fracture of a Male Adolescent Track Athlete" as poster presentation at the 2016 National Athletic Trainers’ Association Convention.
